You must be crazy not to buy this Tiger tank at this sale price. The detail is better than most model kits. Plus it is durable. The turret comes off when you twist it to the side. Now 21st Century just needs to sell the rest of the crew. An excellent buy!!!

What a fantastic toy and curio showpiece! This has incredible detail, and looks just like the real thing. I own two of these models, and also own a Panzer V Panther, which came out two years ago. There are many small details that one just doesn't find in a model of this price. I highly recommend it for the adult or teenage collector for display. This is a very delicate toy/model, so I don't recommend it for everyday play or use! This piece is great for a shelf or a curio cabinet!

WILL TELL YOU LIKE IT IS WITH THIS FINE SCALE MODLER OF 48 YEARS!!!!!! THE CRAFTMANSHIP ,AND DETAIL LOOKED LIKE SOME OF MY MODELS. WHEN I PICKED IT UP ,0UT IT WENT OUT THE DOOR WITH ME ,WENT BACK A MNTH LATER GOT THE SD.KFZ 222 LEICHTER PANZERSPAHWAGEN[4X4].CAN'T WAIT TILL I GET THE HALFTRACK VERSION. HOPE THE MFG.KEEPS MAKING MORE THEY ARE A LOT EASIER TO DUST THAN SOME OF MY PLASTIC MODELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just picked the 1/18th TIGER I from [the store](just went on sale - quick go to [the store] and check!). I'm extremely impressed. It is a heavy toy with an awesome amount of detail. I was shocked to find the turret had interior detail to include loader's, gunner's, & commander's seats, plus two ammo racks in the body of the Panzer. Tracks work well once rotated a few times (better than the SdKfz 251 because they are wider and don't come off the drive wheels). Turret rotates very smoothly. Mine needs a little touch up painting on some of the edges, but that is easy since I'll add to the paint job anyway. The elephant symbol makes the Tiger I from the Schwere Panzerabteilung 502 operating in the Soviet Union between 1942 & 1945 (Russia, Kurland, & East Prussia). I would have liked to see it detailed for Western Front since the opponents available are Americans (maybe with a reissued repaint job by 21st Century Toys). No zimmerite coating on the armor, everything is smooth (fine by me). Once again an EXCELLENT toy for kids or static model for wargamers. The Panzer Kommander is excellent also, nice detail on the cap and uniform. I just love the Luger that the Panzer Kommander comes with, very nice touch! I'm just amazed at these toys and thank 21st Century Toys for manufacturing them and [the store] for carrying them. I hope to see more in the future (German, American, and hopefully Soviet & British also). I wonder who will be the first to motorized one of these 1/18th toys?

The German WW2 Tiger Tank was a real destroyer. This is a wonderful version of that tank with great detail. The kids really like it and are proud to display it in front of their military collection of toys.
