All the pieces to Mattel's Barbie Pink furniture line are adorable and are up to date with today's fashion and design conscience little girls, but wow, talk about all the little pieces that come along with the sets that seriously are a hazard to anyone who has animals in the house. After my daughter is finished playing with her Barbies and setting up house, I have to make sure each and every time that ALL the little pieces are retrieved for the sake of my pups. If it weren't for me worrying about my little dogs, I would rest easier. As a matter of fact, I wish I had so many options with my Barbies back in the 60's. Overall, the furniture is functional and the rooms are glam! She has a lot of fun playing with her Barbies and that's all that matters most.

Out of all Barbie furniture sets that came out recently, this one is probably the best. It's a lot less flimsy than some other Barbie furniture sets, in fact, this one is the sturdiest set, probably because the kitchen itself is rather big, comes in one piece, has some weight to it, and all the small accessories it comes with (a pot and a pan, a teapot, a blender, etc.) are larger than (and not as weightless as) the accesories in other Barbie sets, so they actually stay where you place them and don't fall off constantly. It's also a lot more fun to play with than most other newly launched Barbie furniture sets, because there's so much more you can do with this one - there's a stove you can place pots and pans on, there's a counter you can also place items on, there's a sink, a cabinet, a microwave, there are shelves, there are tons of accessories...Cabinet, oven and microwave doors actually open, and you can place items inside and take them out. The doll, though not exceptional, is much prettier and a better quality than most dolls that usually come with furniture/fashion sets like this one. Overall, great toy, well-made, pretty and fun to play with. Out of all Barbie furniture sets this one is my child's favorite.

My girls liked this toy a lot for the first day or two, but it was so flimsy it kept falling over, and pieces kept falling off. The back of the toy is an ugly gray cardboard, so you have to keep it against a wall.

This toy is just very poorly made. For the way this thing was made, I think it should be about half the price. I'm very disappointed with the low quality crap Mattel puts out these days. Their toys are too overpriced for the quality.

I think the doll's hair has little to do with why someone would buy this kitchen, so you should disregard the last review! It is really cute and it is definitely MORE PURPLE than pink so if that is a consideration take note. Great little accessories and includes a teapot, champagne glasses, chandelier, and microwave. Great accessory for your Barbie.
