Horse also comes with safety brakes, which are activated when the seat is held down continuously. Riders can simply press down on the left ear to hear life-like galloping sounds; or press on the right ear for whinnying and snorting sounds. The pony's tail even swings side to side as your child rides along. Handlebars located on the pony's head make steering easy, and a tight four-foot steering radius provides a controlled ride. Pony is perfect for active play both indoors and out. Requires three "AA" batteries, included. 32"L x 13"W x 32"H. Holds up to 150 lbs.

User Reviews about Little Tikes Giddyup n' Go Pony

Giddyup N' Go Pony - great product!
The order arrived immediately - even before an email was sent saying it was being shipped! The product didn't take much to put together - the directions were easy to follow and it was clearly labeled. The pony is safe and sturdy and my child loves it. It is great for developing motor skills and keeping little ones active inside during the long winter. It really is just an all around cool toy.
Fun and Excercise all in one
We bought this for my 3yr old son for Christmas this year. An while i can understand other parents concerns about safety. We are now into the New Year and have had no issues in that regard to date. And the novelty is yet to wear off, the body of the horse feels really nice, though the hair and reigns leave something to be desired. Because of the design of the horse, he gets a work out everytime he rides it without even realizing!

And while this can easily be used indoors, if it's in a very small space you will have lots of getting up to turn it around over and over, that is the only negative thing i can say about it.

I think it was an excellent buy! he gets up every morning still wanting to go to it and every afternoon as he gets home! I have no problem recommending this toy to anyone thinking of buying it.
My grandkids love it!
The horse arrived promptly and safely. It is very easy to assemble and extremely life like. When you press each ear the sounds are great and make our twin-2 year olds laugh. They learned quickly how to make the horse move. It's a great toy!
Christmas Present
I bought this toy for my grandson's Christmas. If it were around when I was a kid, I would have wanted one too.
Should have gotten the spring horse
Let me start by saying I don't hate this horse, I just don't think it was worth $200.00. It is very heavy, which I realize is so it won't tip over when the child gets on, but at the same time, it has also fallen on my 2 1/2 yo. I did get this for a not quite 2 yo for Christmas, and she was too young. It is hard to steer so when she hits a wall or corner I have to go turn her around. She usually gets so frustrated that I have to make her quit riding. I am going to get her a spring horse for maybe her 3rd B-day, because I know she will be able to ride it and I won't have to help her constantly. Also she doesn't understand how the brake works, so she will play with it and then gets mad when the horse won't go anywhere.
