User Reviews about Lamaze Stack - Roll and Crawl Ball

Absolutely great toy for the baby
This is absolutely great quality and very nice toy for the baby. Our kid can't put it together yet, but he likes it a lot, likes colors and texture. as well as the overall look is very good. Don't forget that it looks very cool on pictures. You wouldn't regret getting this one for your baby.
Fine toy
We bought this for our daughter when she was 9 months old, now she is 11 months and still is only mildly interested in it. The pros: It's a toy that will continue to be interesting as more than just a ball, as she gets older, hopefully taking it apart and putting it back together will be fun for her. She likes it better when it's apart and she can play with the rings individually, bang them together, chew on them, etc.
The cons: When its a ball, it's too big for her to manipulate very well, so it usually ends up rolling away from her and she gets frustrated and gives up on chasing it. Also, taking it apart requires some precise fingerwork into the little provided notched edges on the top, which may take awhile for her to develop, so I'm not sure how well she'll be taking it apart herself anytime soon.
Cute twist on a classic toy
It's like having two toys in one. The ball is interesting and colorful, it makes just enough ratting noise to keep my little one curious. The stacking component will become more functional as she gets older but right now she loves taking the pieces apart.
Fun for baby!
We received this as a gift for our then, 6 month old son. He took to it right away and enjoys playing with each of the rings and reaching for the ball (when it's all together). My husband likes to roll it around on the floor around the baby and place it so the baby has to crawl and turn around to get to it. Lots of fun.
Mneh.
It's okay. Our 11-month-old got it a few weeks ago. Hasn't found too much interest in it. As a ball, he might push it out of the way. As parts, he'll sometimes handle a piece or two, usually just to bite it for a minute. That's it. Admittedly, though, he doesn't spend that much time with most of his toys. He'd much rather get into stuff he's not supposed to (cupboards with tupperware, etc... and yes, the cupboards with chemicals and glass are secured).
