I moonlight as a motivational WW-II re-enactor sailor speaking on behalf of WW-II veterans, the "Greatest Generation." Many of my programs are in gyms with school children seated in the bleachers. The "Super Soaker" comes out of a sea bag and I spray the young students to illustrate how wet it gets aboard a U.S. Navy tanker while fueling at sea. The "Super Soaker" easily shoots 25-feet but that appears to be the limit of it's range. The air tank maintains air pressure well until the eventful moment when the children get a little wet. The squeals of delight made the purchase of the somewhat pricey "Super Soaker" well worth the dollars spent.

I bought two Super Soakers for my 7 and 9 year olds to go head-to-head and they love them! If you screw the water cap on tight and create a good seal, they easily shoot 20 feet and it is a lot of water. The pump action part seems sturdy and effective. We've had them a couple months now and they are working great.
