It's perfect for a Toy Story lover. Very fun toy and entertaining. The package is also super cool of course.
RAWRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Did I scare you?
I...love....Rex. He is so funny, he is so huge, and he is durable. A little kid could toss this toy around for years and not break it (they might break a vase or two in the process though). He has so many different sayings, all from the movie. And I believe that they actually got Wallace Shawn to do the voices for the toy. And when you have him on interactive setting and turn on Buzz and Woody also, the three of them all sit there and banter back and forth with each other. He's a little pricey, but I'm assuming 75% of you people on here are getting him for a collectors piece and not an actual toy. The plastic is high quality, and the texturing of the skin is done really well. It looks just like the texture of Rex in the movie. Remember watching Toy Story for the very first time and you were blown away by the graphics and how the bumps on Rex just popped out at you...the toy replicates that effect perfectly. Combine that with the large size, the wonderful packaging, and the head movements, this toy looks great. Only down side is the arms don't move even though they appear like they should. But that shouldn't deter you from this product.

Adorable toy, good for Rex fans
My brother bought this for me for my birthday, and I loved it.
His box was a little roughed up, which was perplexing because it was bought new. Maybe something happened during shipping...
Anyway, the toy itself was lovely. You turn his tail to hear him talk. He doesn't say as many different sayings as the Woody or Buzz collector's editions, but that's probably because he's a side character.
The Rex I got had a screw loose inside. It didn't affect the toy itself, but a curious shaking noise would be heard whenever he was shaken. We fixed it eventually, though.
Overall, a really wonderful toy. It would've been better with a bit more sayings, but still worth it if you're a huge fan of the dinosaur ;)
Toy Story Fun
Loved the lightning deal price we got on this item. Was a great gift for my 3 year old. Hard to wrap, so keep the box it's shipped in if you are giving as a gift.
Great Toy for the fan!!
Purchased this toy for my son for the holiday and it is really a treat to see how detailed it is.!!!! my son fell in love with it right away!!! he has the whole gang... plus he talks and moves his head and arms like the movie!!
BUT!!! it is somewhat fragile with the arms.. my son held on an arm while it was moving and now his left arm doesn't work! oh well it's for kids... but I do have to remind him to becareful with the head and arms when he is playing with it!! a must for the fan.. spend the money you wont be dissapointed!!
