I actually didn't get to see the way the toy was used after I gave it to my niece for Christmas, but she hugged it close when she received it and I personally thought it was adorable. Not sure about educational value, which will depend on factors not directly related to the toy itself, but I can tell you it is super cute, soft and very huggable.

I ordered this item for my 9 month old son but had to send back as the eyes were "raised" and I was worried about them coming off if he chewed on them. It was very soft and cute though and would be great for a child who was older.

I know customers who bought this always call back and say how much there kids love this thing, I personally love it, I named mine "KEVIN CABLE" because his face kind of looks like a Cable guy I used to have. he is nice and big so kids can play with him more and not be a small little Beanie Babie.

I bought this for my 2-year-old and as a parent, I love that this giraffe is not only cute and soft, but machine-washable. A plus when TipTop giraffe makes his way to school and gets dragged around all day!

We love giraffes and this one is perfect for our baby girl. She loves to chew on his antlers. We've washed it in the washing machine multiple times and he comes out of the dryer looking and feeling brand new. No loose fabric or parts that could choke a newborn (once you remove the TY tag). When this one wears out, if it ever does, we would definitely buy again.
